I've heard about that. We even joke that I'm going to be Crazy Cat Lady from the Simpsons one of these days.
As for the general idea of being eaten by housecats? I've never really dwelt on it, myself. I figure if I happen to die alone, at home and with only cats to keep me company and no one who contacts me with any regularity to notice something's amiss if I don't appear for a few days+ and the cats start nibbling? I doubt I'd care as I'm already fucking dead.
Besides, it's not like humans have never resorted to eating one another under the right circumstances.
