Oh, yeah, I also hate these fucking things.

I mean what the hell? A red leafed plant that feels like nasty organic velvet?

Did anyone else ever wonder why no one, in seven years of Buffy, ever drew the obvious conclusion that Rupert and Buff were having an illicit affair?

Remember when Ben Gibbard was skinny?

I was looking over the info for Hamlet and I felt really weird that the last time I saw it was in college, on Laserdisc at the library.

Hehe... the karaoke bar we went to in PDX on Saturday utilized laser discs. I was laughing my ass off... as I was belting out Cindy Lauper tunes...

Hahaha... I dunno, I don't think I ever paid much attention before. No wait... the place we went to most often in Utah the guy had a PC running the karaoke. It kinda rocked.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who picked up one that. I mean really, training? They needed a better cover story

And they're poisonous too.

I have always kind of wondered about that. Particularly after the MOO episode (middle aged man with large occultish book collection hanging out with teenage girls teaching them magic? No, that doesn't smell fishy at all!). Of course, the two people most likely to notice it and do something in response were Principal Flutie and Principal Snyder. The first was an incompetent doof, and the other was an evil incompetent doof. If Snyder suspected anything, he was probably more envious than concerned. Most of the other people who had the opportunity to observe and comment knew the actual nature of their relationship. IIRC, Giles was mistaken for Buffy's father on multiple occasions.

Initially I thought Buffy's mom was going to be the one to plotz, but they just made into a "Ha ha, she's so clueless" thing. I mean, she assumed Angel was a boytoy immediately, even though she believed the history tutor thing, but no suspicions about Giles? Ha!

No! The movie of Hamlet has Laurence Olivier in it. There is no other version.

Olivier is the man (although his Richard III is far superior to the Hamlet). And he's better looking.

The biggest problem with the 1996 movie was that Bill Murray wasn't Hamlet. THAT would've been good...
