Listened to, let's see, the new Air album yesterday. Everyone is saying it's not as good as Moon Safari, which may be true but honestly I think Air is fucking great once in a while and mostly just nice background music. So yeah basically.

The Deltron 3030 Instrumentals, on the other hand, are really really great background music. Even if you are inhuman didn't like the album this is great.

I acquired the Pet Shop Boys musical, "Closer to Heaven." Er, just the soundtrack/original cast recording. It's nice. I mean, mostly it's just a bunch of PSB songs re-recorded by people who can actually sing, which means it's fairly silly, but there's a few new tracks and whatnot. I still like the originals better, but if you're a PSB addict like me you could look into it.

I think I was playing Still Life last night during a booty call, but I could be wrong. If so, it was rather apropos. Yeah.

The Dr. Octagon Instrumentalyst CD is also really good background music, except for when the extended version of Bear Witness comes on and you have to stop whatever you're doing and just listen to it start to finish.

"...you have to stop whatever you're doing and just listen to it start to finish."

I thought that was what you were supposed to do with all music.
