I just had a phone screen, but the person doing the screen just took notes for the form questionairre and will now give it to the tech manager at the company. Well, it's a job in West Seattle, which beats Redmond somewhat, and the job actually sounds fuckin' cool WRT data gathering. No one believes me when I tell them that relational databases get me hot, but tis true. Anyway it's a salaried position, which means fulltime, I suspect, which would pwn. And at least it's more than my first job paid in 1999.

I dunno, maybe I should just lose 15 lbs and become a porn teen model.

I think you just feel that way because you haven't met a good flat-file database yet. Sure, relational databases may be slicker, more powerful, and more useful for most purposes, but a flat-file can keep you workin' all night long when a relational would be done in, like, 5 minutes.
