Mar. 9th, 2003 11:47 amAnd the ads were even better. There's a million of them, but you don't care, because they're so aesthetically and intellectually pleasing: clean lines, hip, and witty. Terribly impressive stuff. Why are American ads so bad? I mean maybe I'm just reading the wrong magazines, but even in say GQ, which has pretty decent ads, they just do not compare to this.
(Whoah, random: I was looking for a TRM website and I couldn't find one, but I did find this writeup on Christopher Lawrence, and I was like "That name sounds familiar." Sure enough. He was also at the fetish party at Medusa the last Friday in February.)

Date: 2003-03-10 09:49 pm (UTC)i'm sort of surprised (but pleased) that you thought it was impressive... it seems australia is usually last on the list of impressive places, at least when it comes to anything cultured/trendy. but i think maybe in regards to design and stuff, we're doing okay. hurrah! and yeah, that is pretty much the stuff i am learning at uni/will be doing when i graduate. yay, i loves it.
