lauralhDominant means basically "i like to take charge of things," submissive means basically "I like the other person to handle stuff." And it doesn't mean EVERY TIME either, just as a trend.

Date: 2002-12-20 11:39 am (UTC)I would probably prefer that I not have to take charge of things outside the bedroom (I like it when other people plan my social life for me), but I end up feeling the obligation to step up and take control of things (the same with my place of employment). In the bedroom, I like to be in charge, feel most comfortable in that situation, but at the same time want to be able to yield up control.
My point merely being - I have no idea how to answer your poll.
