Not sure if I liked it right now, since I had a nightmare about it, but at the time I was pretty happy with it. Of course I would have been happier had it not had a happy ending, but my god this is spielburg we're talking about, right? At least he didn't write it, though.
And it looks like he's been watching John Woo films, too. Which is kind of amusing but also kind of cool. Except that it shouldn't have been an action movie, it should have been more like Gattaca. Or maybe there just wasn't enough action to justify it. I dunno. I should read the original now, I guess, to see how badly they fucked it up.
