Way to show your biases. Right. STDs only strike disgusting, moral reprobates. Diseases have morality to them.

Fucking hell - it's attitudes like that which are why people are so reticent to talk about HPV, or herpes, or chlaymidia, or any of a number of outbreaks which are common and predictable and can be dealt with using science instead of superstition.

Bedbugs are hard to get rid of once you have them, no matter what precautions you take. That's the source of the analogy. But thanks for jumping on the most moralizing interpretation possible.

(sorry about your bedbugs, by the way. I live in Boston and have known plenty of people who've suffered through the same)

Haha I had bedbugs in my first apartment in NYC. It was a shame. That place was brilliantly clean and had a view of the Empire State Building.

I just threw out all my clothes and all my stuff, and threatened the landlord with a lawsuit if he didn't give me a check to replace all of it and let me jump off my lease.

I won and then I went on the best shopping spree ever.
