listening to Placebo gets you halfway to angstTown anyway, but when you combine it with this stuff i think this cold-hearted cajun girl is about to weep.

But then it faded ok. I think I'm gonna make some kool-aid and rum for a faux-'ricane, and pretend my power is out. Well except with gas-powered computers, sheesh. Candles instead of lightbulbs at least.

Most of my NOLA friends are still online with the laptops and UPSs keeping them going until the phone/DSL network dies. =)

3 of the 4 currently have "trying to sleep without much success" as their away messages. Or something to that effect.
