Mar. 3rd, 2008 09:50 amI finally watched There Will Be Blood, and though DDL deserved his Oscar, the Coen Brothers deserved theirs. Also, the milkshake line isn't nearly as good as the one immediately following it, "I AM the third revelation." I mean, come on.
Reg had to work Saturday so afterwards we just unreeled and watched Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, which is on a DVD so old, you have to turn it over halfway through. Kevin Costner is not that good of an actor, although he's good at pratfalls and romance. Not sure who started the rumor that he was. Probably him. Oh, also, you know, when he doesn't speak, he's good. This also made me immediately put on the Arrested Development episode where GOB sings "Everything I Do" to Michael. (Season 2 Finale, if you care.)
Extras by Ricky Gervais is so painful it made me want to watch UK Office again. Not sure what that means.
