I actually ended up going out every night last week.
( Oh yeah? where? )
This is detrimental because it makes me run out of money AND not want to look for work. I need to try to take it a little easier. At least I didn't spend too much money yesterday - skipped Crystal Method and various other options. But last night I just needed to get Steve drunk...
( And now, a bit of prose. )

Current Music: Aesop Rock, C-Rayz-Walz - Bent Life

the original plan was to have an entire weekend out but no dice. Reservations required too far in advance. So much for spontaneity. Oh well. Instead we left early Saturday morning for Ocean Shores and hung out. It was of course miserable weather but that didn't matter. When you're at the beach, nothing matters except the noise of the ocean crashing against the shore. It was beautiful anyway, my first proper view of the Pacific Ocean. There were other people flying kites, some having a bonfire, and even some surfers. If it weren't for the bratty children running around screaming in the 60-degree weather, it would have been perfect for napping. Because that's the whole purpose, anyway, napping to the sound of the ocean, staring at the waves in between, maybe even going in if it's warm enough and letting the current drag you.

I must go back.
