"The real median earnings of women age 15 and older who worked full time, year-round increased for the fifth consecutive year, rising to $29,215 -- a 3.5 percent increase between 2000 and 2001," said Weinberg. Men with similar work experience did not experience a statistical change in earnings ($38,275). As a result, the female-to-male earnings ratio reached an all-time high of 0.76. The previous high was 0.74, first recorded in 1996.

what would be the best part of a female president?

getting to pay her 70% of the standard salary.

I read that black women make more than white women, but both are still below the male average. Wonder if true...

now 75%

The only wage disparity is at the top. Bill Gates, Michael Eisner and me have a median income of millions of dollars, but I doubt women programmers make any less than I do. Unless they're Indians.

It's also been shown that tall men make more then short men.

It would be fascinating to find a comparison of wages between short men and women of the same height group.

Anyways its time to celebrate mothers day. A day of of reminding everyone to domesticate the woman.
