I am thinking of having a tea party at our place. There would be tea and cake. It would happen on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, and I would have French Lounge music playing in the background.

This Saturday or Sunday? Or a hypothetical one in the future?

Oh my does that sound fun. I would love to attend something like that if the circumstances allow. I would even be forced to go out and purchase a floppy hat or something.

My ex mother in law is starting a business this summer by the way, giving tea party birthday partoes for little girls in central California. They (she and her sister) have a trunk full of dress up clothes, floppy hats and paste jewelry, and a couple of sets of china for tea. They'll be serving tea and cake, and having stories and playing dress up and taking pictures. It sounds to me like a fabulous idea, and a ton of fun, except for the having to deal with other people's children part.

I'd definitely try to make it. Problem is, that I work on the weekends. Depending on the date though, I could either come in to work later or earlier so that I could attend. I don't have a preference, I just need a few days notice.

..and by saturday, i mean may 7th, because i'll probably be tagging along with my housemate's band for their seattle show that night... although that means i'll likely be going to the concert.. though not necessarily. in any case, i'll be in town on the 7th. yes.
