I read this column before I got on the bus this morning. Scroll to the second letter. OMFG what. Her response to him was ok, but I'd really like to know where he pulled the 80% figure out. I mean, did he observe that 80% of women had black boyfriends, or that 80% of women that he hit on told him they only date black men?

I think the response to that letter was spot-on: the guy is just a moron. And if you're an attractive girl trying to reject a guy, you don't want to give him a possible out. If you say "I don't date morons", well, he can contest that, but if you say "I only date black guys", then that pretty much settles the conversation right then and there. I find it hard to believe that 80% of women that this guy has hit on all used the exact same excuse, but maybe it's possible? I wouldn't be surprised to find out about a Women's Union dedicated to organizing their rejection of men. :P
