lauralh: (the cheat is not dead)

This week has been rather strange. Reg has been stressed as fuck due to finals and whatnot, and I have been sleeping blissfully straight through the night when he's not in bed with me. But when he's around it's all weird due to empathy and all that.

I bought some hair dye from Sally's - just the color, not anything else. It was a little $3.50 pack of Red, and I assumed it would be like the gel/paste form that Manic Panic comes in, or at least like the Clairol shit, but, alas, no. It was fucking thinner than gravy. Anyway, my hair ended up looking ok, but my floor looks like someone attempted suicide in there. I have covered it up with a rug.

Speaking of Killers ...

You were right, when you told me a month or so back, that the latter half of the Killers album was downhill. The thing is, all the songs are good ("Midnight" and "On Top" are fantastic), but they're just poorly put-together. The album front-loads all the happening songs.

[livejournal.com profile] legolink came up with a solution: put the album on shuffle.

Yeah, but nobody would listen to the B-side.

I meant in general, not specifically this album.
