i use my uni's credit union and i <3 them. they know me when i walk in and don't try to fuck me every chance they get (admittedly i don't do a lot of financing or loans etc....)

I banked at WaMu for about 8 years, and only had major issues twice, and each time they were worked out within 24 hours. The online banking was good, and they have 24 hour customer service via the phone.

It's been a while, but I used my overdraft protection liberally, especially at Christmastime when I was really broke. I had $400 overdraft protection, and I think it was $20 every time I used it.
