I had a terrible dream in which a depeche-mode-like song kept playing in my head, it was about a retarded girl of 12 who got impregnated over and over and over again, and then her 12-year-old daughter got impregnated as well. And the song was just so catchy. Fortunately, my jaw hurt really badly enough to wake me up and make me forget it after about ten minutes.

i have had that dream. the girl was raped in the woods, and the song started there, then the camera followed it away along telephone wires. this was before songs could actually travel along telephone wires very well. didn't get to the part with the baby, but matt dillon was in it, and the song was really catchy and i was disappointed i forgot it. which is funny, because i loathe DM, so it was hard to explain it to anyone.
