I woke up last night around 4am when Reg finally came to bed, and allowed myself to feel a bit of sadness and nostalgia for movin' out of the Cult of the Red Door. I mean, I knew it would happen, but I've spent two pretty damn good years there and it's connected in my mind to stuff. On the other hand, I'm kind of Fight Club about possessions and things of that nature, so while I'm wide awake it's more like "Eh."

Besides I lurve my new place. It has a weird ledge/molding around the middle of one side of the big room, but other than that, hotcha. It's so frickin' huge too. I'm hoping to get steve's old desk if no one will buy it, b/c it will take a decent amount of space up. I was half tempted for a day to put a bar on one end. Anyway I kind of love decorating even if I have to steal most of my ideas from IKEA and DIY websites.

We spent the evening moving boxes, so I have 99% of my clothes and books over there now. Nothing else, the REAL MOVE happens on Thursday technically, I have a couple people coming by to back me up, and would appreciate anyone else interested in moving heavy shit around to come by at 7:45 or so. Tonight is just about supplies, I think, as the "bedroom" space has no outlets. And we need bulbs for the awesome lamps.
