I'm kind of obsessed with this song.

"She Loves You" still kinda makes me sheepishly grin.

I always want to sing along to "The Safety Dance."

Pretty much every Lennon-sung track on Revolver makes me want to lie in bed and weep.

"She's My Ex" by All is 80s fabulous. So is "A Million Miles Away" (Plimsouls) and "The Flame" (Cheap Trick).

Sometimes I get The Postal Service's "Such Great Heights" stuck in my head, and as I don't really know which order the lyrics go in, it kind of sucks.

I keep forgetting that I liked Hail to the Thief a lot. And, Everybody Else Is Doing It So Why Can't We?

Puffy Ami Yumi is another guilty* pleasure, along the Stereo Total lines.

And Roxette and Chicago.

I saw The Plimsouls at least 50 times! The records don't come close to how awesome they were live.

I still remember the first time they played A Million Miles Away live...Halloween Night, 1981. The great lead guitar break didn't come until later.

on a whim I picked up Dinosaur Jr's best-of ("Ear-bleeding Country") about a month and a half ago and have become addicted to their music now. which is amusing because I used to hate everything about them (ditto the cure, depeche mode, morrissey and the smiths.) That and david byrne's cover of kraftwerk's "the model" (with the balanescu quartet) have been almost the only things I have been listening to.

revolver is the only beatles album that I love the whole way through. I think this has to do with having a tape of it and playing it for years.
