Say you were I dunno going on vacation for two months, all you could bring music-wise was a portable CD player with unlimited batteries, and one 20-CD booklet. What CDs would you bring? (you don't have to list all 20 obviously)

I'm doing that right now (basically. All my music is in storage except for what I saved in my book). Not that I put a lot of thought into it before leaving, it was mostly just what was sitting around.

For starters a bunch of Global Underground (http://www.globalunderground.co.uk/) mixes (let's say nrs 22 & 24, because they're varied, and most certainly 23 & 26, the brilliant James Lavelle mixes) and a couple of Ninja Tune (http://www.ninjatune.com/home/) compilations to chill out.
These are all double CDs, so that makes 12 discs already.

13. "Music Has A Right To Children" by Boards Of Canada;
14. a 70s Marvin Gaye CD (it doesn't matter which one);
15. a few string quartets by Shostakovich (preferably including either nrs 7, 8 or 14);
16. "Evil Heat" by Primal Scream;
17. "Music Of The Spheres" by Ian Brown;
18. "Spiritually Speaking" by BLAZE;
19. "You" by Gong;
20. "Essence" by A Guy Called Gerald.

Lucky it's only for 2 months, 20 doesn't seem enough...
