i keep forgetting to update
May. 27th, 2004 11:15 amanyway so yesterday I went to the lie-bury with
hydrozoa and then we got totally lost and the library is soso cool that I want to buy it when i become a zillionaire or something. or hire koolhaas. yeah. it's all metal and shiny but I couldn't get into any of the bathrooms, and we lost track of time and had to run back before we even found out where to check out books. but we're returning later as soon as we get our moneys.
after work I went to borders to read the New Spring novel because i'm not quite out of robert jordan circle of hell yet, but anyway it was really kind of enjoyable and actually femme-happy, since it's Moirane and Siuane as Accepted. I read that for ages then went home and started reading ljdrama since the mediacrat/andrew/jameth thing is so fucking hilarious. and also pixelicious and scooterboy, heheh. then reg came over with goodies, we did that for a bit then went up to best buy and target.
at target i got: lipstick, leather protectant for my lovely new jacket, and flip flops. And at best buy i got new headphones since my old ones broke. sad sad day. And then we went home and more goodies and sex and more goodies. And then sleep. Trying now to decide on internet shoes.

Date: 2004-05-27 10:09 pm (UTC)it's not my kind of humor (actually I lost interest fast) but I keep being amazed at the fact that some of those sites look like their authors do nothing but read other people's journals all day.
Not so much amazed at the time they spend (unemployment or a trust fund would do, and the internet is addictive) but how come they don't get bored?
I still have trouble reading journals of people I don't know, simply because I cannot relate to them. I recently added somebody from your friends list to mine, but only to read about her experiences in the sex workers' world; I am not at all interested in her personal life.
