You know, I wish that I had Jessie's girl.

I've been ripping through Sandman comics. I was falling asleep in the middle of graphic novel 6, though, so I had to stop. I suppose you could say I like it, but it's not pulling me in the way Transmetropolitan did. It's good and nice and all but I think there's just like, too much um, stuff going on. Yeah, I guess that's it. It's too "busy" for me to feel an emotional connection with the characters. Also the main freakin' character is way unemotional and passionless. I mean, I guess he really isn't, they have some of his girlfriends, but I don't get what they see in each other and stuff. Anyway I am enjoying it when they don't focus on Dream.

I miscalculated my richness and do not think I will be able to afford Coachella. Well, I suppose I can borrow money from people to go but I hate that shit.

After Mexican the only dessert worth having in the ice cream department is the Choco-Taco. I was skeptical of venturing into this mysterious land of erotic delights, but I was proven wrong. Well, actually, it's just like a drumstick but more feminine, and with a swirly fudge surprise in the middle. Anyway if they'd had a 6-pack I'd have totally gotten it, but I suppose that it's for the best that they didn't.

edit: what the fuck??

That's that "smaller government" that Republicans are always talking about.

Before his imprisonment, dream is one frosty bitch. After his imprisonment, he's just an asshole. Still and all, he's a fuckin' personification of an immortal necessity for life... not necessarily the best circumstances for coming to be the most "empathetic" of characters. Not like that excuses him.

I like him, tho'.

The Companion'll help clear things up enormously.

Here's the Secret of Sandman:

It's not about Morpheus. He is, by far and possibly by design, the least interesting character in the series.

me, i loved sandman. i liked the literary references, and thought the characters and storylines richly developed.

a lighter title in the same vein would be "hellblazer:. i think john constantine would be more up your alley.

gods. could i BE any more of a geek?
