My personal feeling is that I'd rather buy a used book or CD than a new one, mainly because of the cheapness factor, but partly because of a waste factor. I mean if someone wants to get rid of a good, and the content isn't damaged, why should I have a new one produced? So I was a big Half.com fan forever, but I'll be frank, stuff there isn't as cheap as I'd like it to be. Well, when Amazon or Buy is selling the same shit NEW for less than people are reselling it for, um, guess what.

Is anyone gonna be around for karaoke next wednesday? I suspect we should afterwards crash my place to continue festivities. Or if someone else has a place that's good for festivities, let me know.

It's too bad there's no way to share an e-turkey or something yet, so you could eat an e-dinner with your (e-)family around an e-table and then go out and party and save yourself the hassle of having to deal with travel and actually dealing with familial relations up-close and personal, plus it's hard to hang out with your friends when you're NOT AROUND (esp. if you're in CALIFORNIA, considering that no one in California has any friends).
