Date: 2003-11-19 11:33 pm (UTC)Try salmon and tuna sashimi (slab of fish meat). A piece of sushi is the sashimi (slab of fish meat) with some rice.
It rocks. Also, you gotta mention the wasabi and soy. One of the first times you eat sushi, you're obligated to do something really stupid and (with a few other naive newbies) throw a big chunk of wasabi into your mouth and chew it up all at once. My blessings!
