So I took the day off work to show Mike around. We tooled around Green Lake and Pike's Place Market, ingesting coffee before and after. He's far more addicted to the shit than I ever will be. I think he's having a good time. We introduced him to a lot of DJs and peeps last night, and I have to say my biggest laugh was when he and endquote were all "THE MORE DISCO THE BETTER!" Metrosexuals are so cute. I'm surprised they don't explode when they touch, though.

(Aside: we both love the way Steve acts like he's not drunk at all till the seventh drink when he's just "I'm fucked up maaan.")

So now we're just hanging out, decaffeinating, waiting for Steve to get home so we can eat dinner. If you're not busy and live in/near Seattle, you should stop by Contour tonight. Maybe if you're nice we'll invite you home and let you in our hot tub. Because that's how we are, you know.

I liked disco before I was metro. Just ask jizosh, your future DJ. I think disco is more of a people-who-like-to-get-the-fuck-down thing than a people-who-like-to-make-sure-people-see-how-nice-they-look thing. I am definitely one of the former.
