I was terrifically hungover on Friday morning, because, you know, Thursday nights are the new Friday nights or something. Actually it was because Steve bought me a vodka+redBull while I was in the bathroom. Those things are not for weeknights.

So by the time

crazyducky got to our place I was thinking of dying. Or sleeping, anyway. But instead I pressed forward. I was completely out of it the whole time we were at Boudoir, though. Hoped dancing would wake me up, but it just made me dehydrate. Thought caffeine would help, just made me twitchy and tired. Rochelle wasn't feeling so great either, so we left before two.

Slept. Breakfast at the Pancake Corral, which is the closest thing on the West Coast I've seen to PanPan diner. Slept some more.

toastednut at the Alibi Room for ROBOtrash, as Jerry Abstract and his friend (that we didn't book) were spinning. Then off to Bonzai for Naked Sushi, except we were too late for it. Ah well. Got to see one of the ex-Contour bartenders there, which was cool. And then we went to this afterparty at the Standard. May have to return to those, seems like they will keep having them every Saturday.

Yesterday was a wasted day of IMing, karaoke CDing, Red Mill and Adult Swim. Finished The Sirens of Titan as well. I'm not sure what I think about Vonnegut's plots per se, though the writing is entertaining as hell. Well, it's not as good a book as Slaughterhouse Five or Cat's Cradle.

I just explained to an Austrian bisexual what a flogger was. You gotta love the internet.
