Concerts

Apparently this first Death Cab for Cutie show is 21+, something I've never seen since I've lived here. Well hot damn and let me pull out my black frames, is what I say.

I wasn't planning on seeing Interpol again, but they're going with the Stills, who wrote my new current favorite song ("Still in Love Song"), so maybe I will.

BRMC is playing again too, in October. As is Kid Koala. AND PEACHES. Ooh.

the Chop Suey list. I actually kind of want to see Ugly Duckling again, they opened for Basement Jaxx I think it was, and they were kinda cool for white boy hip hop. I can't go to any of the Friday shows, alas.I am claerly never going to get to see Amon Tobin.

Work

I got a raise but I can't keep these silly pre-9am hours. I've decided to switch it around a little. Clearly I can't work really weird hours, as I don't have an office key, nor can you call lawyers at 2am. Well you probably could but I bet they'd be pissed.

Um, not much else here. I have mostly mastered the ergonomic problems, and have stopped going home to lunch since gas prices are so freakin' expensive. I guess that's it. Oh, and I still like reading about people's mental health, but not about car accident emergency reports.

Sociality

My plan is not to go out till Friday, at least in the "going out to bars" sense. I will probably go out Thursday, however.

I still can't find a guy that I really like who feels mutual about it. I'm mostly resigned to this, and just want some people to hang out with.

That was a total lie, by the way. I want movie moments with someone who appreciates them, even if we aren't in love or what-the-fuck-ever. And I'm really mad that I didn't get to go away with anyone in that vein this summer. Or by myself, but that's more a money factor.

I made a fucking awesome curry last night. Tonight I will make awesome jambalaya.

I have lose my digital camera. I had it Friday, because I took pics before going out, and didn't take it out. I think I just need to clean my room, or something.

And the rest of the house. And deposit my check. Yeah.

the stratford 4 is opening for brmc in october. they're my new favorite band, and i highly recommend checking them out. they're better than brmc imo. either way, i'll see you there.

I had your camera (I think it was yours) Saturday morning to take pics of Sharon and Mikey on the couch. But the battery was dead so I set it aside. I might have put it on the couch next to me instead of the coffee table? So maybe it's in the cushions? I was sitting kind of by the corner of it facing the door.
