hot tub and wine = double plus good. Monday my body resumed its weekly ache that only seems to go away after a night of drinking Friday. I'm a little freaked out by this all. Stuff like this never used to happen. Either I need to exercise more or stop getting older.

I heard that "Silver Screen" song by Felix da Housecat the other day. I really liked it, so I downloaded acquired the album yesterday. Also got the Death In Vegas album which is really really good. I was so out of it last night that I didn't check the list I made against what I could find, but I guess I can take care of that tonight.
The weather today is sublime. I totally love overcast windy days, and just at the edge of the horizon is enough aquamarine sky to make out the Olympics.
The "desks" we have at work would make an ergonomicist blush. I finally gave up and lowered my chair. Feeling better already.

It's a slippery slope from irony to sincerity, and we're on the cusp of a full-blown cock-rock revival thanks to the thousands of kids who think it's totally funny to wear Motley Crue shirts to their emo shows. I do enjoy looking up hair metal bands on Allmusic.com, where all of their bios are a variation on "they were hugely popular in the late 80's, then people stopped buying their records one day in 1991 when this Nirvana band appeared on MTV."
Johnny Cash is fine, but I don't get excited over him.
Buy (or download) the whole Felix Da House Cat album (Miss Kittin sings on several songs): for myself, any album that still gets played after (almost) a whole year is worth having... And while you're at it, also watch out for Thee Maddkatt Courtship (it's the same guy).
