* Weather here is hella nice again; I got some sun while reading Skinny Legs and All. Which is so far cracking my ass up.

* I do not know "Double Vision" and therefore did a poor job singing it. I did fine with "Runaround Sue" and "I Ran" (the latter Steve picked for me), though.

His dissent didn't say that he thought sodomy laws were good, just that they weren't unconstitutional. Scotus decisions mucking around with state laws are mostly pretty sketchy in my opinion.

Thomas's addendum to the dissent was certainly much more to the point (it was < 1 page in length), but my reading of Scalia's was basically that there is nothing in the Constitution to limit what state governments can do in this area. Neither Scalia, or Thomas (or Rhenquist) see a right to privacy in the Constitution. I tend to agree with them.

That being said, I think O'Connor's decision made the most sense as laws outlawing sodomy are clearly discriminatory.
