* Asshat?

* I've come to the realization that I'm over my Tortured Artist phase. That is, finding them irresistable. I think this is because I'm too sarcastic to take that kind of shit seriously and would therefore be a terrible girlfriend, always urging them to do something funny instead.

* Infected Mushroom last night was totally awesome awesome awesome. I used the term "PLUR" as a non-ironic verb, and there were about a million cute boys there.

* Unfortunately my state of mind was disturbed when they started handing out popsicles towards the end. Now I am ONLY HUMAN, and the sight of twenty to forty young men and women eagerly SUCKING on these phalli just made me lose it. I had to go upstairs.

*Miguel Migs tonight. Rawr.

On the topic of "asshat", there was that episode of Futurama where the Professor made a top hat that could make a chimp be extremely smart. In the end, the chimp threw away the hat because his newfound intelligence alienated him from other people, but was forced with the decision to put the hat back on in order to save the crew from certain destruction. As the chimp attempted to put on the hat (at this point he wasn't smart anymore), one of the places he chose for the hat was his ass-- of course everyone laughed at that. That's my personal etymology for the term "asshat", someone who's so dumb they'd attempt to put a hat on their ass.
