Dude.
That's a really hard choice, cuz I'm all about both artists... Bob kicks some serious mellow ass.... and I'd totally shag Bowie... heh....

that's a very cute icon

Any Brit willing to admit he's afraid of Americans is okay in my book.

Bowie was the very epitome of intelligent musical experimentation. He's highbrow bizarro. He rules. He can turn a turpid weirdness like "Dance Magic Dance" (Labyrinth soundtrack) into good music -- that takes miraculous powers. He did that while dressing like . . . THAT . . . and still managed to look stylish and suave.

He rules. If I was gay, he would be MINE.

Have you seen that incredible Union Jack coat of his on the cover of Earthling?

Dude. David Bowie was in LABYRINTH! That's enough for me!

God that movie rocked my young world.

I can't answer.

They're so completely fucking different, you can't really "compare".

Love em both, they're both geniuses in my book.

WTF?!?

Comparing Marley to Bowie is like comparing an ant to Ella Fitzgerald; how can such a comparison even exist when we are all subsumed by the ubiquitous majesty of Bowie's area?

that was my point

bowie for the sheer breadth of his music. bob's alright, but there's only so much skee-dank skee-dank guitar a man can take. and towels on the cymbals? ok, fine for a few songs, but like more than half a record is waaaay too long. and marley's kids are insufferable in their using their dad's fame.
