OMG, how awesome.

Idle thought of the day: I wonder how much my new younger-man-kick is based on the fact that I did not date much in college. Or do much of anything interesting, really - I think I can count the number of boys I kissed during those four years on one hand. Well, maybe two.

Someone sent me (well, casa.leeds@mydomain) this.

Hi Vic and Matt!!
Hope you're both well and work isn't too hectic! My boss has just sent
us all an E Mail saying that we need to start requesting our summer
holiday dates to avoid disappointment so I have been looking for villas
to get the ball rolling. Only thing is, I don't really know Ibiza very
well so not sure what area I should be looking in - do we wanna be in San
Antonio area or Ibiza Town or anywhere else..... what do you reckon???
The Radio One weekend over there is 2nd - 4th August, are we aiming for
then or later on in August? I ahven't had chance to talk to Will
properly yet but I will do soon, and I'll ask Gareth tonight!

Let me know about the above! Cheers my dears.

Bi-usage Many people are puzzled about bimonthly and biweekly, which are often ambiguous because they are formed from both senses 1b and 2b of bi-. This ambiguity has been in existence for nearly a century and a half and cannot be eliminated by the dictionary. The chief difficulty is that many users of these words assume that others know exactly what they mean, and they do not bother to make their context clear. So if you need bimonthly or biweekly, you should leave some clues in your context to the sense of bi- you mean. And if you need the meaning "twice a", you can substitute semi- for bi-. Biannual and biennial are usually differentiated.

You know, I never made the connection, but I didn't date much in college (or at all in HS), and I've definately been a chicken hawk for the past few years. It's like I "discovered" this goldmine of guys that I wasn't dating when I was younger.

Even when I was in college, I was never one for the "older men". Maybe now that I'm 26, it's just finally legal socially acceptable to go after someone five+ years younger.

Yeah, one of the few guys I DID date in college was 18 to my 21, which seemed totally scandalous at the time. Far more scandalous than when I was dating 21 year olds at 27, which for some reason seemed like no big deal...I'm not sure why. I've actually got this cool 9 year thing goin on right now...the oldest guy I ever dated was 9 years older, youngest guy I ever dated (that being the current) is 9 years younger. Interestingly, the maturity levels are not that far apart.

Which was the clincher for me... if I'm going to be with someone who acts 17, he may as well have stamina.

I think I've had my fair share of dating in college (and still a year left), but what's really funny to me is that the guys I date are getting progressively older than me. And it's totally coincidental. Like the first guy I dated was my age, and then each one after that was one year older (well, there was one deviant), so now I'm up to 5 years older than me.

So I wonder what's in store for me when I'm old and grey like you ;)

After the vasoline and cowboy boots scene in Strip Tease , I'd just as soon go lesbian. Hmmm, does that mean I get to go through the ages all over again?
