I'm still sick, but only in the mornings. Alcohol seems to tame the wild phlegm.

Note to all you Californians: I don't care about your gas prices. Is it still seventy-five all year round? Yeah? Then shuddup.

The Era of the Cult of the Red Door may be coming to a close. Watch this space for details.

[livejournal.com profile] agentcooper deleted me from his friends list. Good riddance fucko. "NOW, THAT, IS CLOSURE."

edit: OMFG David Sedaris is funny.

Nope. That's a myth. It's not always sunny, either. Highs are around 60-something today, and light rain's predicted for tomorrow morning. It's overcast now, too. :D

I am on the coast. I can see the ocean (on a good day, which isn't today) from the office building; when it's especially clear, Catalina. No, we don't get snow. Yes, the temperature is usually between 65 and 75 for several months of the year... but it's warm, overcast and slightly muggy. Then there's the intermittent torrential downpours. I have had thick frost on my car. I live less than an hour from the U.S.-Mexico border.

Inland areas tend to be the 75+ much-of-the-year, generally-sunny places. Then again, SD tends to be cooler than LA, for some reason.

Actually, in low-altitude inland areas, it tends to get REALLY FUCKING WARM during the summer. We're talking over-100-temperatures.

Well, yeah... i was going for annual averages.

I would hate to live in Temecula. Escondido's bad enough with its 80s and occasional 90s...

Coastal NC gets into the 80s sometimes, more 60s-70s, and just stays below the Hollywood stereotype.

If I had to live in Bakersfield, my life would be shit. And, of course, there's the desert.

That should have said "elevation", not "altitude".

in SF, January sees the best weather, but July's all cold and shitty.
