Remember when you were learning about autoincrement operators in programming class, and some smartass always mentioned that "C++" should be called "++C", because you wanted to use the language after it had been changed? Man, that guy was obnoxious.

Finished Valis last night. I understand it's book one in a trilogy; guess I need to get the next two books. Next up is Now Wait For Last Year.

the VALIS trilogy has 4 books, actually:
valis
the divine invasion
the transmigration of timothy archer
radio free albemuth (this was published posthumously, written for a friend -- it's debateabvle wether this should be included w/ the other valis books, but thematically and storywise, it fits (or so i hear -- I never got past valis myself))

also, if you haven't read umberto eco, you should. Just thought I'd mention that.

PKD has some of the best fucking titles ever.
