So sisyphus and I have decided that there needs to be a support group for people "addicted to love." Love junkies. Preliminary name: Society for the Prevention of Irrational Love (SPIL).

(skeptic: isn't all love irrational?

We seem to have repaired our hot tub from the terrible incident of losing the screw which seals the drain at the bottom. I bought a new screw at Fred Meyer.

Also bought blondblond hair dye. Look out world, I'm channeling Billy Idol.

Yay blonde! Don't forget the toner, though, because lemonhead is never good. You know, that's what happens when brunettes bleach their hair out to that straw color and don't add any cool blonde tones over it. Fuck, it's not like I know anything--I walked around with lemonhead for several months when I was twenty, before I got sick of it and threw on some green.

And whilst I don't think I've ever known anyone who's addicted to love, I've met quite a few who are addicted to the IDEA of falling in love.

I can't quite see why ALL love is irrational. I mean, most people only seem to benefit from it.
