lauralhI have that early-morning-post-karaoke-drinking deep sexy Jessica Rabbit voice going right now.
Last night I sang "I want you to want me," "The Sign," "Like a virgin," and "Another Night" with Steve. And oddly enough I got to sing one of those songs again at the strip club afterwards (we just picked up our housemate, shut up). Also, I got my first present last night - a bottle of Grey Goose. Hot damn. (Six days and counting.) Also a free drink and a really dumb photo of me wearing a sombrero. And a couple of birthday kisses from the two most attractive people with us. Even if that were the whole celebration, it would still top - oh, the last seven of them or so. Sometimes being me totally rules.
Tonight I pick up my cuddle bitch and we rock out. If it weren't for the fact that I'm often talking to him 3am his time online, I'd probably hit the airport with a couple cans of Red Bull. As it is we'll probably force a latte down his throat so he doesn't fall asleep.
edit: is it completely vile that we referred to last night as "Iraq-aroke" and kept making jokes about getting "bombed" and "blitzed" ?
