hooray for ana finally sending me a christmas present. So that makes 3/5 people I exchanged gifts with. Rest of you can go ahead and buy me stuff for my birthday. I have all my wishlists in my user info, er, except my Amazon one.

Watched Death To Smoochy. Did I mention that I love Ed Norton. Yeah, that's right. Even dressing as a purple dinosaur rhino, something about the man does it for me.

The actual movie is definitely worth seeing. I really really like Robin Williams acting all deranged and shit. It's like the good old days when he was still all coked out. And any movie with midgets and Irish mafia can't go wrong, you know?

Also saw Girl, Interrupted again recently. God I cannot fucking understand how anyone could possibly want Angelina Jolie after watching this. First of all they made her look totally fucking scary, pale, dark undereyes, stringy nasty hair, and skinny like my 14-year-old brother. (Not that he's 14 now, but when he was, dizzamn.) And second of all she was a total sociopath. I mean, I have my moments of non-empathy, and I don't like fitting in to the stupid world either, but. I mean, come on.

Anyway I do have to admit that I felt like I live my life as Susanna Kaysen to someone's Lisa Rowe. Like I'm just being bounced around by someone else's antics.

Robin Williams has been on a bit of a sick twisted spree. He had Death to Smoochy, Insomnia and One Hour Photo all back to back; and it doesn't hurt that all three were pretty sharp, especially OHP. It's always weird seeing actors that have established themselves as comedians by trade do serious/graphic work, but it's better to see more movies like these instead of shit dramedies like The Majestic.

Norton rules and all. Best work I'd like to think was American History X, though he did good in Primal Fear.
