The origins of valentine's day

--

I finished Crossroads of Twilight. Fuck Robert Jordan up his stupid ass, is all I have to say.

--

Saw Interpol last night. Calla and the Turn-Ons opened for them. The Turn-ons unfortunately are not that great live, so I guess I'll just stick to their mp3s. Calla on the other hand was nice and slowcore, just how I like them. Steve was bitching about Interpol playing the songs exactly like they were played on the album, but my feeling is that you can't play the album QUITE that loud, nor do you usually have a shitload of people around you grooving to the music. I hate to use the term PLUR but that was my feeling.

Afterwards we headed to the Bar where Steve completed the circle and threatened to kill some dude in a stupid hat. I actually wouldn't have minded seeing his nose bloodied, but I feel that way about most scenester indie fucks. What can I say, I have a violent nature.

I've wondered continually if I should ever start that damn series. I take it from your comment, that you would recommend "no"?

The first 5 books, in my opinion, are amazing. But the next five books began degrading in quality. They're still written all right but it takes SO LONG for anything to happen...
