"So I was watching The Spin Room (I am a CNN whore) and it turns out that in parts of Austria these cows go up into places where they're not supposed to go for some reason, and the owners have to pay upwards of $900 to hire a helicopter to come in and get the cow down. But it only costs $32 to stuff the cow full of dynamite and blast it to shit. Well this leaves cow innards strewn about, which gets annoying. So they passed a law that it is now illegal to blow up a cow. Talk about a win for facism. I mean what kind of a world is it where an honest, hardworking man can't blow up his own cow with dynamite? Sucks I tell you. The thing I'm not sure of is if this covers all domestic animals or just cows. For example is it legal to blow up a yak or a goat in Austria? Must do more research. Similarly is it illegal to "put your pet to sleep" with dynamite in this country? Is it legal if you call it research? If you call it research will this require you to shave your pet or put some kind of paint marking on it before you blow it up (to measure scatter maybe?)"

That's not quite fair...it's not my fault that people misinterpret what I write, or in some cases not bother to read it all before condemning it. If people want to dismiss it as misogynist whatever blah blah fine. If they want me to explain what I wrote I'll do that too, and I tried to when you asked me to. But I don't think that I backed down from my basic opinions or core theories...I never claimed to be a religious leader with gospel truth. It's a small mind that is not open to revisions, discussion and criticism. If I had responded to every post from a female with 'you're wrong, it's clearly this way' it would have been 'he really is a bitter asshole who hates women.' People probably expect me to take my own website too seriously, and I take it seriously as a forum for my narcissism, but I'm not trying to found a movement yet. Certainty has somehow been linked to knowledge in our culture, but I don't trust anyone with too strong of a belief in anything.

Anyway, sorry for the rambling mr interimlover and for the worthless post herbaliser, but it's annoying when not having an absolute immutable opinion on something is seen as a weakness, a backing down, a selling-out or whatever. Entering into a discussion that you've pre-decided not to be open to is like trying to teach a pig how to dance: it get's you nowhere and it annoys the pig.
