Has anyone seen Barcelona? It's about a couple of American guys living and working in Barcelona, and struggling with their identity and all that rot. Anyway there's a lot of "americans do this, spanish do this shit," but my favorite bit is the hamburger discussion. Basically the main guy is going off about how he likes hamburgers, in fact it's seen all over the world as a quintessential American quirk, liking hamburgers... but in most countries the hamburgers basically taste like crap. So therefore Americans (who like hamburgers) are seen as gauche cretins with no taste. And he can't defend himself till the end, when the girl he was talking to actually attends an American summer barbecue and eats a hamburger.
