A new reality show. I think I might have to watch the first and last episodes of this one.

--

Started reading some Dot Parker last night. This one poem made me laugh out loud:

They laid their hands upon my head,
They stroked my cheek and brow;
And time could heal a hurt, they said
And time could dim a vow.

And they were pitiful and mild
Whoe whispered to me then,
"The heart that breaks in April, child,
Will mend in May again."

Oh, many a mended heart they knew,
So old they were, and wise.
And little did they have to do
To come to me with lies!

Who flings me silly talk of May
Shall meet a bitter soul;
For June was nearly spent away
Before my heart was whole.

Parker is my personal hero. The most quotable writer of the last century.

I am guessing that's about the algonquin round table, which from every description i've heard/read is what the jimbosworld/penismightier forums would be if we actually sat down for dinner at the same table one day.

I found the movie dry and unpleasant and will stick with the written words, though I'm a big Jennifer Jason Leigh fan.
