couldn't look you in the eye
Oct. 14th, 2002 08:13 pmFall is here. The autumnal weather is sublime yet melancholy. The sun sets at seven, and the loneliness sets in as I wrap the blanket around me on the couch. I listen to Dinosaur Jr and the Smiths, and can't really tell if I'm depressed or just horny.
This morning my legs gave out a lot quicker during my run than they did on Sunday, and I spent most of the rest of the morning in a haze which didn't wear off till I went to the grocery store. I made a southwestern corn chowder that came out a little too sweet but still very good, and I had a big bowl of it for dinner, then chocolate bars and whipped cream for dessert. Excessive sugar occasionally gives me a headache, but it wasn't too bad , and I watched Clueless on USA. I have seen this movie maybe three times (four now), but I could still totally catch every cut and edit.
The first time I saw it I really was into Christian (the gay boy), but now he seems too Chris Isaak. Especially compared to Paul Rudd ("Joshua") who's just so bleeping adorable you want to pinch his cheeks. And, er, his face. Um yeah.
