lauralhI keep forgetting to get money from people, or I give it to the wrong people, or something. And I even forgot about Buffy tonight. Damn. I also forgot to do laundry, but I'll go do that right now.

hydrozoa's rec. The funny thing is that my friend Holger had taken a class with the woman who adapted the screenplay - it was a playwriting course, and the plays I read that he had to write for that class were All. Fucked. Up. So that put me in the right frame of mind for this movie. Also a bit of taste of Almodovar, now that I think of it, where totally weird-ass people are treated as perfectly normal. Or if not perfectly normal, then at least not as horrible perverts.
Anyway I did indeed enjoy it greatly, mostly on the "they actually MADE this?" level. I've definitely read (and even written) stories as fucked up as that, and I'm just glad that they're going a little bit in that direction for adaptations.
