This time, when I ran, it just hurt. My calves, in fact. I think I may need different shoes. The calf-pain goes away fairly quickly after I stop, at any rate.

Or maybe it is a blood clot.

I dunno. I took some B6 (which is a blood thinner, I'm led to believe) afterwards just in case.

I read a couple more chapters of The Ecstasy Club yesterday instead of working on my novel, but I think I'll go consume some caffeine and do that now. I've actually FINALLY finished the first confrontation and now just need to wrap that up and set the stage for Part Two.

Aspirin's a good blood thinner, too. In fact, any patient on Coumadin (warfarin, a prescription blood thinner) is advised against taking either ibuprofen or aspirin for pain relief, as it could lead to serious bleeding out and stuff. And until Coumadin was available, I think most heart patients at risk for stroke took aspirin to thin the blood.
