After the tea incident I showered (washed that tea right outta my hair, so to speak) and sat tight for a while before working up the energy to at least pretend to clean my room. But then I got it in my head that I wanted to watch a movie instead, possibly Eyes Wide Shut or Magnolia (just SOMETHING slow). I flipped through channels to see what was on first, though, and settled on Say Anything. I actually remember not liking it much the first time I saw it, but of course everyone else I know likes it. The first half hour was still a little irritating but I got into the groove.

Of course watching a movie about a relationship that only lasts the summer was not exactly the best thing for me to be doing, and the minute he said "I'm going to England to be with your daughter" I couldn't take anymore. So I turned it off and actually went to clean my room this time, after taking a couple of advil and drinking a huge glass of water. I first put 99% of my CDs into those book dealios, since I haven't done a re-org in over a year. And then, of course, picking up other shit and running into those old diaries.

So I read some of that and talked to people online for a while till it was time to pick my housemate up from the airport. And then the day devolved somewhat rapidly after that, but not because of anything I did. :: whistles innocently:: So I ate dinner, then Erik and I walked around our block chatting and stuff, that was pretty cool. And then I stayed up late chatting and reading my old journal. I'm tempted to post some excerpts except that they're all so inane it makes me want to cringe.
