Trivia night at Irish pubs seems to be a nationwide phenomenon. Unfortunately my first visit was a bit too close to Elvis' death; consequently about half of the questions were about him. I should go around Lennon's shooting next time, as I'm far more informed on Beatles trivia than Elvis. Also there weren't nearly enough movie questions (though I did get them all). I didn't really help in any other category, alas, and the one non-movie question I did know the answer to got voted down. Still it was a good time, I never really mind showing off my (somewhat sketchy) knowledge.

(And if say, during premiere week, they ask a bunch of Buffy questions, I'm totally down with that.)

i happened upon the trivia night at connor o'neill's in ann arbor a few months ago. had no idea it was gonna be there. i guess i had never been there on a monday. didn't play but tried to help the table next to us. I don't think i got any of the movie ones right. It was all about Jean Harlow and these old time movie stars. I mean who the hell knows. but the table next to us was even worse. they didn't know who PJ harvey was!?!

we only had like 4 movie questions, two about Bogart and I forget the other two. Well, Ms. Daisy's son (Dan Aykroyd).
