lauralhWe tried to buy lawn chairs but failed miserably. Fortunately I dreamed we found some perfect trailer-trashy ones. Um, yeah. We also bought ice cream, which is a total godsend of course.
And then we went up to Northgate and went shopping for real. Steve and Erik bought lots of nice clothes - I felt like such a Madame with my Male Ho's at Structure, especially when one of the salesgirls asked me if everything was ok. "Oh yes, we're finding just what we need." And then The Body Shop for Erik's beauty supplies, heh.
Afterwards we went to the Home Depot next door for blacklights - the really longass ones - to put in the basement here. They didn't have as many as we needed, though, so we drove up to the one in Edmonds to get the rest. God, that area is such strip-mall hell. I realize that Aurora by us ain't so great either, but at least there's no damn traffic lights to make you look at it.
And then Jalisco's for dinner and margaritas. We had more when we got home, but used actual Mexican tequila, which made them taste a little funny. Oh well. Our basement almost looks passable now, esp. with all 6 blacklights on. "We totally need to invite the freshman hippie chicks over now," said Erik.
