your fortune for today

I don't remember when I ate at a Chinese restaurant and got this fortune, but I found it pretty damn funny when I cleaned out my bag and found it:

Socially, you will be involved with an enjoyable event.

(OK, it's only funny if you add "In Bed" to the end of it.)

I think I actually had it at the beginning of March, before the party that Changed My Life. So I guess these cookies are right sometimes.

Well, basically for the first time since moving west, I met some people that I actually wanted to hang out with again. It was partly an LJ party, so I'd sort of "met" some of them, but face-to-face for the first time. One of these people, Steve, is now my housemate.
