party hard

I don't think I got more than 7 hours of sleep one night this week. I'll probably be unconscious all of Saturday, and what's worse, I'm actually starting to build up a tolerance to alcohol. I actually drank a rum and Coke, two fuzzy navels, and a Midori sour (hey, I was buying, may as well enjoy it) last night, and while I was definitely feeling it right at the time, it went away fairly rapidly. And after six hours of sleep I pretty much felt OK. This is in sharp contrast to college, where if I'd drunk that much and then slept nine hours I'd still feel like a stranger was poking my brain. But then, it wasn't cool to drink and party every night in college, and when you just do it on the weekend you don't really acclimate to it.
Oh well. I'm still in a marvel, adjusting to this lifestyle. I feel like such a hick sometimes, actually. Or "country come to town" as my mother used to say. "Look ma, a man pretending to be gay to pick up women!"
