I have arrived

I am now an official Seattle resident. I love my new house, and it's a beautiful sunny day, so I love Seattle and Mt. Rainier and the Cascades and the Olympics. I love my new new futon and need to marry my new comforter, it's so great. And did I mention the red door? Our house has a red door.

ooh -- about a year ago a couple of real-estate types gave me this long lecture on how Phinney was the next "hot" neighborhood. But I could never find anything to do there besides eat burgers at Red Mill. (mmm... Red Mill...).

So far I haven't really seen much to do, but I haven't extensively explored it yet. It's a straight shot to downtown, though, and I-5, which is good enough for me right now.
